Columbia University fails to meet accreditation standards: U.S. gov’t

NEW YORK, June 4 (Xinhua) — The U.S. Department of Education (DOE) stated on Wednesday that Columbia University violated federal anti-discrimination laws, therefore failed to meet the accreditation standards set by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), an accrediting agency recognized by the DOE.
