SAN FRANCISCO, May 8 — Amazon’s cloud unit, Amazon Web Services, said yesterday it was working to restore normal temperatures at a data centre in North Virginia after overheating disrupted some services.
The incident caused a power loss that affected certain hardware, AWS said, adding that services reliant on the impacted data centre could experience “impairments”. — Reuters
