KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — Rapid KL said today that services on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line are experiencing delays due to a suspected fault involving a power supply component at Putra Heights station.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the public transport operator said trains at Putra Heights are being operated manually as a safety precaution.
It said this would also slow train movements at nearby stations and result in longer waiting times for passengers on platforms.
Rapid KL said its technical team has been deployed to the station to carry out checks and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
Auxiliary police and station personnel have also been stationed at concourse and platform areas to assist passengers, while regular announcements on train schedules are being made at stations.
Passengers were advised to check Rapid KL’s social media channels or the MyRapid PULSE journey-planning app for the latest updates on Kelana Jaya Line services.
