KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 — Flexi Parking has assured users of the parking app that their missing credits which have been verified will be restored today.

In a Facebook post at 11.26pm last night, Flexi Parking reinforced this message through six emojis.

In an earlier Facebook post at 11.09pm last night, Flexi Parking had made the announcement that “the credit restoration process for affected user accounts is currently being carried out in stages”.

“All verified credits will be credited back and reflected in users’ accounts by Sunday, 5 July 2026.

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding,” it said.

Last night, Smart Selangor Parking also posted the same announcement to assure users that their verified missing credits would be restored by today.

Earlier yesterday, both Flexi Parking and Smart Selangor Parking had also directed users to email support@lits.com.my for any app-related issues, credit or top-up concerns or transaction checking.

On June 30, both Flexi Parking and Smart Selangor Parking had announced on their respective Facebook pages that there is a temporary service disruption, which left users unable to pay for parking digitally.

The service disruption was reportedly due to a cyberattack on Flexi Parking, whose system is used by 64 local councils nationwide.

On July 2, both Flexi Parking and Smart Selangor Parking announced that their app services have been restored, but users of both apps had highlighted that the money they had reloaded or topped up as credit was missing in the balance shown.

Both Flexi Parking and Smart Selangor Parking had responded on July 2 by directing app users to contact them with these details: registered phone number, vehicle plate number, app issue faced, screenshot if available, payment or compound details if relevant.
