KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — Former Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex here today to cheers from dozens of supporters.

Saravanan arrived in a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at about 8.24am, according to Sinar Harian.

The Tapah MP was escorted by several Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers before being greeted by his supporters.

Media reports had previously quoted Saravanan as confirming that he would be brought before the Sessions Court here today.

He claimed that he would face charges stemming from a third party’s allegations linking him to the issue of foreign worker recruitment during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022.
