SEREMBAN, Aug 2 — Kuala Pilah Umno chief Datuk Ismail Lasim has been appointed as the new Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, following his swearing‑in before the Yang di‑Pertuan Besar this morning.
His installation comes after Barisan Nasional emerged with the largest bloc in the state assembly in the recent polls.
The ceremony marks the formal start of a new state administration under his leadership.
