
JOHOR BAHRU, May 8 — His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, The Regent of Johor, took part in a joint military exercise alongside the Johor Military Force (JMF) Elite Unit and the Malaysian Army’s elite 21 Grup Gerak Khas (GGK) yesterday.
The exercise involved coordinated land, sea and air operations based on the Riverine Ops and Heliborne Ops concepts.
GGK is the Malaysian Army’s premier special forces unit trained in counter-terrorism, jungle warfare, reconnaissance and special operations missions.
The joint drill showcased tactical coordination between the JMF Elite Unit and the military special operations force through simulated combat and rapid deployment exercises.
