JOHOR BAHRU, May 8 — A new digital immigration system aimed at easing one of the world’s busiest land borders will be introduced at the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said today.

He said the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) will be deployed at the Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex at Bukit Chagar when it begins operations on January 1, 2027.

He said the system’s full rollout will coincide with the launch of the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link service, which is expected to significantly improve cross-border connectivity between Johor and Singapore.
