
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 — Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wishes Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim a speedy recovery from a medical procedure that the Malaysian leader is slated to undergo today.
He said the people of Pakistan joined him in praying for Anwar’s continued good health and well-being.
“Wishing my dear brother, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, a swift and smooth recovery during his medical procedures.
“May Allah SWT bless him with a speedy return to his duties,” he said in a post on X today.
Earlier, Anwar’s Senior Press Secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said the prime minister was undergoing medical examinations and procedures prescribed by a team of medical specialists.
Anwar is expected to remain under observation for two days. — Bernama
