KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 — A BMW was destroyed and a Perodua Axia partially damaged after a blaze broke out at KL Gateway Mall, Jalan Kerinchi, last night.
The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said it received an emergency call via the NG999 line at 9.53pm before dispatching six firefighters from the Pantai station to the scene, New Straits Times reported.
Operations commander Mokhtar Ramli said firefighters found two vehicles at the scene — the BMW was completely gutted, while the Perodua Axia sustained about 30 per cent damage.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished. The cause is under investigation.
