The Tambun MP arrived at about 4 pm and was warmly received by residents. He then visited several nearby business premises to mingle with locals.

He spent about 45 minutes having afternoon tea and chatting with around 200 attendees, exchanging views on various issues.

During the casual meeting, Anwar also signed a banner and a plaque for Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Poi Lam in appreciation of the school’s wushu team’s recent success at an international competition in China.

Also present were Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek and her deputy, Wong Kah Woh.
