SHAH ALAM, May 20 — The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, today conferred Selangor state medals on 225 recipients in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
During the investiture ceremony at the Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz here, a total of 43 individuals received the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (P.P.T), while 35 recipients were awarded the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang Selangor (P.P.C.).
In addition, 134 individuals were conferred the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K.), while 13 recipients received the Pingat Perkhidmatan Selangor (P.P.S.).
The four medals do not carry any titles.
Also present at the ceremony to award recipients from the Petaling and Klang districts were Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and Selangor State Secretary Datuk Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin. — Bernama
