KUALA TERENGGANU, May 25 — Police are conducting a detailed investigation into the accident that claimed the lives of three workers at the Sepat floating storage and offloading (FSO) facility, located about 150 metres off the waters of Kuala Terengganu, yesterday afternoon.
Kuala Terengganu police chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor said a team of officers from the Criminal Investigation Department had been dispatched to the location to determine the cause of the incident.
He also advised the public not to speculate or spread unverified information regarding the incident, especially on social media.
