PETALING JAYA, June 11 — The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will discontinue remittance counters at all branches nationwide from July 1, 2026, shifting contribution payments fully to digital and alternative channels.

The retirement fund said other service counters would continue operating as usual, The Star reported.

Members will be able to make payments through the EPF i Akaun mobile application, internet banking, bank agent counters, Self Service Terminals (SST), among other channels, while employers are advised to use the i‑Akaun (Employer) portal.

The EPF stressed that the closure of receipting counters would not affect members’ or employers’ ability to make payments, as multiple alternative channels remain available.
